
Roasted Pork Rack
This pork recipe is so simple to make and perfect for a beginner cook. The only equipment you’ll need is a meat thermometer and a shallow pan for roasting.
Ingredients:
- One 8 Rib Rack of Pork (5 to 6 pounds)
- Season generously with salt, ground pepper, and garlic powder.
- You can add other dry/fresh ingredients such as:
- Minced Garlic
- Olive Oil
- Rosemary
- Marjoram
- Thyme
Directions:
Pre-heat oven 450 degrees.
Pat pork dry with paper towels. Season both sides of your pork rack with your choice of seasonings. Place on a large lined shallow roasting pan or a roasting rack, bone side down. Roast uncovered in the oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and continue roasting uncovered for another 55 to 75 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 145 degrees.
Once temperature is reached, remove from the oven and let rest for at least 3 minutes longer.
Cut between rib bones and enjoy!
